Sponsorship Opportunities with Division 1 Men's Gordon Head Soccer Team: First Impressions Inc. has partnered with the Division 1 Men's Soccer Team to support them with their fundraising efforts. Coached by Nationally B-Licensed Coach, Steph Steiner, the Division 1 Men's Team is well-known in the city for consistently being in the top 3 of their division and qualifying for the BC Provincials for 6 years in a row. Last year alone, they were mentioned in the Times Colonist and Saanich News over 20 times, with consistent coverage on the A-Channel and Chek News. Also being in the top five in Division 1 has landed them on the front page of the Vancouver Island Soccer
League Website, consisting of over 100 teams and 2000 players who regularly log on to the site.
The hard work and dedication of the coaches, players, and numerous people connected with the club have also contributed to their success. There are however many expenses connected with running this particular team and they rely not only on their own fundraising efforts, but also the support of local businesses. The major expenses that the club will be looking at this year are team uniforms, track suits, equipment and travel, which is the main reason for
requesting sponsorship from your company. There are currently three different ways you can help:

  • As the Division 1 Gordon Head Men's Team Main Sponsor at $2,000, your company name and logo will be displayed on the players' clothing and as an added bonus, your company name will also be incorporated into the team name for the entire season. Your name and logo will also be prominently displayed on this year's website and poster.

  • Be part of the Division 1 poster campaign. For only $200, your company can have a business card sized ad on a poster which will go out to 1,000 individuals and businesses in Victoria.

  • First Impressions Inc will also be organizing an on-line auction. Visit www.firstimpress.ca/on-lineauction for your chance to donate a product or service and place your own bid.

Other advertising options includes having your companys logo on a field sign at the turf field and advertising on the GHSA website.

Please feel free to call Lorrie Carlson / Owner/ First Impressions at 250.389.2234 for more information and how to take part as a sponsor in the upcoming season. Or by email at gm@firstimpress.ca. Our joint initiative will make a lasting impact for both our players and the community that surrounds them.
